Fun in the Snow

Christmas afternoon, we piled into the car and headed to check out the new cabin that Josh's dad is having built.

It's on an amazing piece of property in Star Valley

with tons of room for the kids and dogs to run.

This is a bald eagle in a tree on the property.

Hard to tell for sure, but it looks like it has built a nest in this tree!!

We decided to spend Christmas at the Star Valley Cabin this year:

a first for the cabin's 20+ years.

The kids were worried,

but Santa found us!

I finally relented and got out one of my Alpine trees.

No lights.

No garland.
Just our simple ornaments

Cullen back when he was in Kindergarten.

The kids didn't seem to care that it wasn't

a huge, beautiful tree packed with lights.

They were just excited that they could finally

decorate the tree!

I just noticed was still up out front from Thanksgiving!

And I am perfectly OK with that!
