My uncle Terry passed away last Saturday night.
He was a great man. I will remember him best for his great sense of humor. It's hard to see your relatives go. He will be greatly missed. I know it's expecially hard on my parents who are on their mission right now because they wish they could be here to support Aunt Judy and her family. My thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.

Terry Gene Anderson, 71, of Richfield, passed away July 25, 2009 in Provo, Utah. He was born December 22, 1937 in Fairview to Hugh Cheney and Ella Gladys Barker Anderson. He married Judith Ralph, June 12, 1963 in the Logan LDS Temple.
From his early boyhood days, Dad has enjoyed camping and hiking in canyons and mountains with family. He shared the music skills of his mother and sister in singing solos and participating in choirs in church, community events, and in neighboring communities. He also shared his mother’s talent for sketching portraits of scenery with chalk and pencil and his love of gardening. From his father, he inherited the talent and love of woodworking and was often known by family, friends, and members of his community for his various projects.
He enjoyed continual learning through reading and study.Dad worked for 26 years at the Sevier Valley Hospital as a medical technician.Dad served faithfully and diligently in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Great Lakes Mission (Columbus, Ohio) and loved missionary work throughout his life. He also served faithfully as a temple ordinance worker in the Manti Temple.
He is survived by his wife Judy, of Richfield; children: Annette Anderson, Fremont, CA; Terry Bruce (Monica) Anderson, Rock Springs, WY; Heather Marie (Tyrell) Osterhout, Delco, ID; Barbara Jean (Marc) Ence, Sacramento, CA; David Hugh (Monica) Anderson, Riverton; Eric Jay(Deborah) Anderson, San Jose, CA; Daniel Lynn Anderson, Riverton; 13 grandchildren; brothers: Robert Anderson, Orem; John (Ruth) Anderson, Salt Lake City.Preceded in death by parents; brother Dale (Laurie) Anderson; sister, Ella Florine (Leon)Nielson; sister-in-law Carol Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 3, 2009 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 6th Ward Chapel (200 E Center). Friends may call Sunday at Magleby Mortuary (50 S. 100 W. Richfield) from 6-8 p.m. and again on Monday at the mortuary from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund.
