Such a productive day ...

Today was my first official day off work with all four kids (gulp) in school. Should have been spent doing something productive like cleaning or organizing or reading. Instead, what did I find myself doing??? Blogging, Face-Booking, and TAKING A NAP!!!
LOVE IT!!!

LION KING

Josh & I got to go to THE LION KING
It wasn't my favorite broadway show,
but the costumes were AMAZING!!
We were late, so we missed the first 10 minutes, when the animals march down the isles, but we got to see them all from the lobby. Apparently I wasn't supposed to take pictures, but I didn't know that at the time.
<
Then a few weeks later, a friend called me up and offered me FRONT ROW TICKETS!!!
Of course I jumped at the chance and I made sure I wasn't late that time.

It was INCREDIBLE to be right there in all the action!

Wish I was rich and could afford that everytime!

My Two Favorite Josh's

One of my birthday presents this year ...
Josh Turner Tickets!!

We've seen him a couple time and I just LOVE him!!
Not only is he HOT ...
But he has the most AMAZING voice ..
one you would never
expect to come from that body.

Concert wasn't long enough cuz of Layton's
noice ordinance ...
he had to stop singing at 9:30.
But it was still GREAT!

Thanks Josh!

Mega-Itch

14-YEAR-MEGA-ITCH

They say there is a
7-year-itch.

Well, does that make
the 14-year-itch even worse???

Our past year has been
pretty rough, to say the least.

But, we made it . . .
Barely.

Hopefully this will help
our next year be a little better.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Love ya!
(yes, I said it!)

Jen

Wendover Weekend

We headed to Wendover Saturday to spend our anniversary weekend relaxing with some friends. We had a blast soaking up some rays at the pool most of the afternoon on Saturday.

Then we hit the buffet for dinner. The power in all of Wendover decided to got out during dinner. Luckily for us, the generator kicked in for the buffet and the casinos. Of course they aren't gonna let the money making portion of Wendover go without power. Unfortunetely, the power in the rooms were out ... apparently NOT an imortant part of Wendover. I think they figured that it would kick everyone our of their rooms and down to the casinos to sink more money into that town. Not us, we went to bed early. It was 2am before power was restored to the town.

Not a productive weekend, but a very relaxing one. Thanks to Robert (Josh's dad), Ammon & Michelle, and my parents who helped with the kids so we could enjoy some time away.

Here is Josh and his fancy luggage! :)

Elk Hunt 2010

Flaming Gorge Elk Hunt 2010
Not sure why I didn't take many pics,
I guess I was just having too much fun
relaxing and watching the kids and dogs play.

While the guys were off hunting,
the kids were off looking for animal tracks.
They did come across a sheep graveyard.
Apparently somebody shot a bunch of sheep in the heads.
The kids brought back their heads.

Laci wanted to pose ...
It's funny, cuz she is all girl, but has a lot of tomboy in her too.

Landon learned how to ride a little motorbike.

Wish I would have gotten pics!

And of course, the four-wheelers got a lot of use. The kids just begged to go on rides all day long.

No elk this year ... but lots of great memories as usual.

Hard to say Goodbye . . .

Curtis, Wendy & girls were here for 3+ weeks from Alabama. It was soooo good to spend time with them. It's been 3 years since we saw the whole family. Sunday we had to say goodbye. It was hard. The cousins had SO MUCH FUN playing and getting reacquainted. Hope it's not 3 years til the next time.

Park City

Josh was gone all weekend on his annual hiking trip
to the Wind Rivers, so I decided to
take the kids up to Park City for the night.
We really didn't do anything; it was just a change of scenery.
Kids had a blast swimming all night!

... staying up late watching "What about Bob"
silly faces as we check out of condo

Look What I Can Do!!!

It's official . . .
Cady is now on TWO wheels!

The next day, I come home from work to this ...

I guess Landon figured if his baby sister can do it ...

No more training wheels at our house!!
