Eight Years Ago . . .

Eight years ago today, we brought

Landon home from the hospital.

He was 2 1/2 weeks old and still sooo teeny.

He weighed 4 lbs and looked like a wrinkly old man.

Lynette Thredgold/Jed Moss Concert

Last night Josh and I were invited to attend a concert

at the home of professional violinist Lynette Thredgold.

She and Jed Moss (formerly of Air Supply)

put on an AMAZING concert!

The music was incredible!

The talent was amazing!

It put the bug of classical/piano music back in my brain.
AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!

Not only is Lynette a professional violinist,

she is also a trainer, a body builder,

and a former professional wrestler.

She was "The Phantom"

Jed Moss is an incredible pianist!

I loved every minute of their talent!

Late Easter Post

Looks like the Easter Bunny came!

For everyone except for Cady ...

She was told the night before that if she was

naughty for the babysitter, the Easter Bunny

wouldn't bring her anything.

Can you guess by the head of hair covering her sunken face,

how she behaved for the babysitter?

I had to work Easter morning and I was hoping to get out the door

before I saw this, but everyone woke up just in time to see me off ,

and for me to see this face ...

Oh, it was soo hard for me,

But I had to stick to it.

But just as I walked out the door, I said,

"The Easter Bunny left your stuff

with mom and dad, so maybe you can earn it back."

She was smiling here ... even without anything in her basket
But not here ...
Josh took the kids to the hills to get some Easter energy out.
What do you know, She did earn her loot after all ...

Cady the Climber

Almost every week at the South Davis Recreation Center

Cady asks to climb the rock wall.

Sometimes I say yes,

Mostly I say no . . .

But last week was a "yes" week.

She is quite the climber . . .

No fear!

Saturday Night,

Josh and I

headed for some sushi

at Mikado

It was delicious!

Josh tries his hand at chopsticks . . .

Then we headed to the

Zac Brown Band concert.

After parking at the Gateway,

we walked four blocks in the WRONG

direction before calling home for directions

and retracing our steps, plus three blocks . . .

We finally made it to "The Rail". . .

Pretty cool venue, but in a weird location.

We were an hour late

but luckily, so were the singers.

Their buses got stuck by a snowstorm in Denver

and ended up flying into Salt Lake

at the same time the concert was supposed to start.
