Tales of a Lost Hunter

*Friday evening we set off for the Flaming Gorge mountains
*Annual archery deer/elk hunt
*Saturday Morning came early to all
*3 Hunters set off at 5 am in search of their MIGHTY game
*2 Hunters return to camp at 9pm with NO game
*Josh was NOT one of them
*2 Hunters set off in search of their mighty mate
*Josh, conceding to a long night on the mountain, built a fire
*Pistol~~baring man came to run Josh of his property
*Luckily, Josh was able to calm the man with his snake~like charm
*Josh didn't know Jen's cell number (?)
*So Josh called his dad, who called Josh's sister Jessica, who called me. I gave Jessica my number, who then gave Josh's dad my number, who called Josh and gave him my number, who then called me. Phew!
*Man drove Josh back to camp
(which was challenging since Josh didn't know where he was!)
*By this time Bryan's cell wasn't getting reception
*So Josh set off in search of his mighty rescue team
*By 1 am, all THREE were back safe!

*Josh is no longer allowed to be left alone on the mountain!

Geez...I am glad it turned out like it did. Lost on the mountain at night is probably one of my biggest fears. So many creatures out there. Luckily he had some survival skills ;) Now if you can just get him to learn your phone number...

That is the problem with cell phones and being able to program in numbers. Forget kids needing to know our numbers, I need to check my husband knows mine too! Glad you had a happy ending!
