Camping at Timpanogas

My brother, Curtis and his family are in town from Alabama, so we are trying to cram as much into a week as possible. Monday we headed to Mt. Timpanogas. Those that were there early enough took a hike up the back side of the mountain. I had to work, so Laci, Cady and I got there just in time to set up camp and have dinner.
{love the campfire}

Ukele music: perfect for camping

Grandpa and Cady
Burning Marshmallows :)
Making omelets-in-a-bag for breakfast. Yum!
Then we set off to hike up to the caves.
Here is Laci and Sabrina: instant friends.

Taking a break . . .
Wendy, Curtis, then from back to front .. Grandpa Hansen, Maren, Cullen, Emily, Cady, Sabrina, Laci, & Landon
Everyone did great on the hike; even Cady, while she hitched a ride here and there, hiked 95% of the time.
Waiting for our tour through the caves . . .

Just a few of the cave formations . . .
I figured it has been 15-20 years since I have been through the caves. It was awesome and amazing to see them again.

Looks like tons of fun. I want to go on a camping trip like that, with lots of willing participants. FUN!
